IMMERSION PROGRAMS

There is also another possibility to write effective and powerfull programs for force-feedback devices. It is based on the use of Immersion ActiveX. Usually it is easier to write programs using an Immersion ActiveX control, than using DirectX, because it provides the programmer with the set of ready force effects.
The Immersion Foundation Classes (IFC) provide the way to quickly add force and tactile feedback into your application. The work of IFC is based on the DirectX API and Immersion's TouchSence API.

Here is a listing of Immersion APIs, design applications, and documentation, for software developers and web designers.
